Wore it to school today, got some minor scratches accidentally through those rolling chairs.
Bit heartpain so decided to buff it with some obernaufs to get some layer of protection on it. (I hope?)
Anyway, I rubbed it with my hand + cloth, the result isn't very obvious as i only applied a little.

Just seems a little polished i guess? haha!
Will be applying it more by using hairdryer to dry it after few more wears!

iirc, its not advisable to use heat to dry up leather goods. Not sure where i read it.. maybe ask around the leather thread ?

it's a recommended method by obenaufs
low-medium setting to just lightly warm up the boots, will encourage the LP to release the oils better, and since leather is skin... the heat will "open" the pores so absorption is better

just to share something which i only know today, i guess many here should know that, mink oil is actually the oil of a mink!
and mink is an animal, and they have to kill the animal to get mink oil.

nice pair.....but dont worry about the scratches....when i bought my first pair i also worried alot but then these shoes are meant to be trashed in the first place rite?! might get this if the 9029 black featherstone doesnt release anytime soon
