Iron Ranger series. If i'm not wrong they are the 8111, amber harness. The copper is more brown and have a rusty dirty look to it in real life compare to this.

Hawthorne was another choice of mine before I pull the trigger on 8111. They get rugged so beautifully!

Is it too good to be true? aka inspired/fake

does anybody know the width of red wing boots sold in Singapore? are they D or E or any other width?

as far as I know, factory seconds is only being sold by RED WING themselves at their factory.

That carousell is definitely fake.


Certain models like the MOC TOES are E width in singapore. Most have D and E.

D and E width isnt very big difference so don't really have to worry.

Did a sizing of 10.5E at CGW for the 8130. However Amazon only sells in D sizing. Will 11D be a similar sizing to 10.5E? Anyone can advise.

A pair of good boots will last you a long time. So why don't spend that little bit more and buy it in peace from the authorised retailers? IMHO, its worth every penny paid, and I never regretted so.

You should have requested to try their D width. If I were you, I would head back and request to try. Unless they don't have then I would think 11D should fit 10.5E fine.. but might be slightly longer hence abit heel slippage.

If you scared paiseh, just request to try another colour, and tell them you need sometime to consider which colour better suit you. In between the trying pop the question asking if D width could be better fit and request to try it. Really no harm They not gona chase you out of the store . A moment of thick skin would save you tons of trouble in the future !

Thanks for the info! Too bad, CGW doesn't bring in D sizing for the 8130. Got the 1907 from Amazon. Great pricing. Haha.
