Where can I resole my 875 crepe sole & change the top leather lining?

Your no4 boots is the new gortex or the previous leather de? IMO, a pair of RW is even tougher than the no.4 leather boots.
So imagine u will take longer to break your RW than the normal no4 boots.
But same as the no4 boots, the comfort is with you lifetime after u break it
now every yr when i go back for ict, i just need to wipe it clean and its ready for the outfield again

I took ard 6mths to break into my 8165. Had several blisters ard heels, tough on the sole. But after that the leather and sole soften and mould into my feet, now its nothing but comfort
Trying to break my 875 le, but i know its going to be longer journey coz i cant wear it daily like i did to my 8165...

oh so the whitish sole in your boots will slowly mould into your feet? cause for me my 875's sole is hard as wood now haha. im a nsf so the only time i can wear is during weekends/leave.

ya, something like that. At least that happened to my 8165 pair.
The sole is "moulded" liaoz, comfy and dirty of coz

My 875 is similar case to yours coz unlike my 8165 which i 勉强 wear to work in office attire, 875 cfm is a big nono... So my 875 is only worn on Fridays or wkends...

then someone earlier did explain that different pair the leather may differ slightly. So if some say their pair broke in very fast, it may not happen to yours or mine...
My 875 no matter how hard i kick or squat in it, the toe areas just dun really bend forming the creases, which did happen to my 8165...
I guess i have to wear it more often bah.

And I can't wait to wear them in the coming holidays and weekends.. Just wanna ask the experts and gurus here.. Shld I mink oil it before I starting wearing? Also anything I shld take note oof? IF I AM NOT WRONG:
mink oil is like giving the leather some moisture and softening it slightly.
But too much of it also no gd. Give it like every 9mths enough le.

Okay.. guess i i will give it a couple of wears before i mink it then.. The SA also recommended doing it after 1 or 2 mths of wear.. Thanks for the advice.

Wah.. After browsing further I think I have fallen in love with 8138 ah.. dang.. I just got a new pair of 875 yest.. Talk abt being fickle.. You guys think I could go or an exchange back at the store or would it be a no go?

but how comfortable can it get? Haha, mayb cos I'm heavy la, but crepe soles do nothing for me.

Ya same sentiment too.

I like this shoe cause it can be use as casual wear or for work.
And somemore this is a boot, very durable I heard from ppl.
So yah, love it. But the sole is abit too thick.. lol.
If can be much thinner, will be awesome.

look ugly for a work shoe imo, the sole look weird.. weirder than using Doc marten as a work shoe.
