Hi guys,

Im pretty new to red wings and i have a few questions before i make an order online to purchase red wing 8146.

1) if i am wearing 7.5E, does that mean i will feel tighter on the width for 7.5D? what about 8D to compensate 7.5E, just asking?

2) is 8146 waterproof? or can we do something to make it 'waterproof'?

Red wing 8146 is moc toe and i will suggest you choose 8D. It runs narrow on the front for 7.5D. To be very safe, go to local shop and try the size and confirm.

nice. wear in good health! trash it before coating again. remember to scrub it occasionally as it tends to have dust/dirt stuck there.

Optional la. Its just 15 dollars or less only, to consider grooming a few hundred dollars boots. Tried using tooth brush, the dirt tend to get stuck at the brush.

actually i feel that 7.5D fits me better. i tired on with a pair of socks. still have about half an inch space when i pushed my feet to the front of the boot. Considering if i should sell it off and get a 7.5D instead. do i keep it or sell it away?

anyone interested? i just received it from DHL yesterday. waxed, not worn, but tired on to it only.
