Hi. I know red wings shoes are waterproof but have anyone wore it and have to walk in the rain because no near shelter like I did? With all the splashing of dirty water on the floor. Does it make the exterior crack easier? considering it's a $400 pair of hardy shoes I don't think many ppl are willing to put it to too much rough use right? All I did was went home and wipe it then apply mink oil

I beg to differ, boots are meant to be trashed, with rough use to attain the patina and nice aging. Why baby sit your boots..

If kena rain, should be no problem if you applied mink oil before. The water will not seep through the leather (those dark spots) else just wipe and oil will do.

Do take note, don't need to oil every time after kena rain, oil when it looks/feel dry.

I normally scrub it clean if kena water to prevent molding and those areas that might trap dirt.

The alphabet is for the width of ur feet.. Some design have more options for width.. Common would be E or D.. Depends on how narrow ur feet is..

I went to the suntec shop to get my size measured, and tried on two design before. But coz for my size, I would need to order and wait for months, hence, I am wondering if tw would carry sizes in D so that I can buy it off the shelf immediately.
My tw trip is in nov though..

Need some advice, my 8.5 Iron Rangers are a little tight on the sides already at 2nd wear. At Redwing shop, was advised to get a size 9 but well being impulsive I got the 8.5's and now regretting cos my other pair of IR's in 9 are fantastic comfortable.

My left foot is perfect snug with the 8.5 but the right is a little tight on the width with a little heel slippage.

any IR owners have any advice? Should I sell and get the 9's or stick with the 8.5's and wear it in and hope for it to stretch.

Finally got my hands on the 9013. The brown is gorgeous with a hint of orange at the toe area. Doesn't come out so obvious in pic thou.
