Better not to wear new shoes for travel that involves lots of walking. Break in can be a biiitch.

thx for the advice, but my current shoes cant really tahan -5 degrees weather...
thats y plan to get a pair of RW.

U still have to wear thick socks to tahan winter at -5c if u spending a lot of times out door.
Even my winter boots from northface and timberland though rated for low temps I still need nice socks or it's cold at temps -10c and lower

yeah i bought some thick wool socks...

thick wool + 875 can tahan -5?

Low u wouldn't experience it as it's late at nite or super early in the morning.

If there is snow and you are walking in it, take last weekend I brought my kid to sledding and snow was 40cm thick and feet getting wet will be no help esp boots isn't high enough

Bro, 262cm = 2.62m your foot taller than me ah..
anyways, i think get bigger is better. if you get a smaller size and then realize can't fit your feet well.. its gonna be a bigger issue than getting thicker socks to fit a larger sized shoe.
just my 2c as i got into this silly problem..
