Red wing leather rather thick n though... Since u wear during weekend I think it's ok... Find a model u like lo...

First for most. Then you must not go heart pain when scratches or creases form. If you don't care this de, then go for a pair!:s12:
Many will worry the colors darkening, creases forming or scratches. But IMO this is the character you bring out in your boots lor.

As for maintenance, I don't care about the branded stuff de. I get the mink oil from bata and horse hair brush from hush puppy. I will give it a quick few brushes everytime after I come back in them. Oiling like I feel the leather feels drying up, else probably every 8-9months if I do remember to. :p
I always tell others; Its you who wear the boots, don't get a pair of boots to wear you. :)

anyone know if TDS got the moc toe oxford 8100(blue)?

just in case, I'm unable to get it in HK.

Anyone with IR can help? Can use Obenauf's heavy duty LP for 8111? Or must use oil? I'm using the HDLP for 875, thinking should get oil for 8111 or just use HDLP?

Im using mink oil for my 8111 as per recommended by the shop assistant, so Obenauf's LP should work as well.

This info is from mid 2014.

Got my friend to help me check the price of a 1907 in HK. Shops on the Intercontinental Hotel side of HK. It is priced roughly the same as US ($269 USD). Around $340 - $350 SGD. US rates were about $1:$1.27 at that time. At that time, Amazon provided free shipping to SG.

That's why I mentioned before, that SG prices are way off compared to their US and HK counterparts.

Hello guys, I would have a question about my pair of Red wing 875 I got today from Caliroots. I always thought that shop was legit, but maybe you guys can help me a bit.


The issue is, that on the right shoe on the picture the leather of the tongue is only half as thick as on the left shoe. And also the inside of the tongue is of completely different color, although the shoes are from the same batch. Is that some sort of production related error or are they not even legit?
