Red Wing is a nice suburb town that you see in the movies. The red wing logo is seen almost in everypart of the small town. I didn't wander much as i to rush back to get my assignment done. lol

In the end, the price was hella cheap. They said up to 70% off, and they meant it. The price i paid for these 3 wouldn't get me the cheapest pair in the suntec outlet.

2 Moc-toes at 49.99 each
Beckman at 109.99....

no sales tax for apparels in minnesota.

Just called redwing factory this afternoon
Their moc toe 875 is going for usd$181.99
Their iron ranger usd$223

Their tent sale offer is excellent!

Wah also cheap, the lowest I managed to get on Amazon for 875 was around $208 USD, making use of their Fall 20% off.
But have to ship to USA and make use of courier services to send to Singapore la...

any products to apply to protect the leather? mink oil is to makje it shine right ?

Wax alone will dry out leather and reduce your shoe's life span.

But I would recommend you purchase this:

You should have a horsehair brush to brush your shoes before and after every wear to keep them dirt free. The horse hair brush is used to buff the shoes after apply cream and/or wax as well.

Leather cleaner for periodic cleaning (every few months) and welt applicator to apply shoe cream.

If you want a product solely for waterproofing, use Obenauf LP or the Burgol Dubbin from the above link. Apply these to clean leather once every few months to waterproof them, however it will darken your leather upon application though. And you can skip this set altogether if you keep with a regular shoe care regime.

Thjs bro, will go hm n read slowly. Im a lazy fellow think wont really go to much extend to care, jus dw touch water it change color n leave a mark there...

Red Wing in JB

Just came back from City Square in JB and ventured into Crossover Concept Store at Level 4. Managed to snag a 9111 Classic Round for RM 970 (at today's exchange rate is S$324).

The Beckmans were going for RM 1170, the 81-series Classic Mocs were going for RM 1080 while the 1907 Classic Moc was RM 1275 (as I can recall).

Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Also got the leather laces for RM 52.
