RedMagic is planning to bring several Snapdragon 8 Elite phones to the table. The company has started teasing those devices and we already have some information about them thanks to that.

RedMagic has started teasing its phones with Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC

The company is teasing the “7 era”, and says that “it is worth waiting for 7!”. Those teasers popped up on Weibo, along with some images. This is clearly a nod towards a 7-inch smartphone.

We reviewed the RedMagic 9 Pro earlier this year, which is when it launched, so that’s definitely not a hint to the 7th gen model or anything like that. The teasers are clearly pointing to a 7-inch display size.

In fact, the RedMagic 10 series is coming. The company also shared an image of the Snapdragon 8 Elite, along with the RedMagic 10 Pro name, clearly confirming that it plans to use Qualcomm’s new chip. The ‘Extreme Edition’ brand was also mentioned, so RedMagic could use an overclocked variant of the chip, as it did in the past with Qualcomm’s processors.

Three devices are coming, one will have a display that goes beyond 7 inches in size

Digital Chat Station, one of the best-known tipsters out there, added some fuel to the fire. He reported that the RedMagic 10 Pro and 10 Pro+ will have a flat, high-resolution display that is “about 7 inches” in size. An under-display camera will be included once again.

The third model seems to be coming, however, the RedMagic 10 Ultra. That variant will have a display that goes beyond 7 inches. It may actually measure 7.5 inches. All three of those phones will have very thin bezels.

No matter how thin the bezels are, the devices will be large, especially the one with a display size of over 7 inches. Tablets back in the day included 7-inch displays, though they did have considerably thicker bezels.

These phones will have advanced cooling built-in, along with a bunch of gaming features, as we’re used to at this point from the company. We still don’t have the launch date for these devices, though.

RedMagic is preparing to announce some rather interesting gaming smartphones. The RedMagic 10 Ultra definitely stands out, as we just found out it will feature a 7,000mAh battery, plus some other details.

A recent report said that the phone will feature a display that is a bit larger than 7 inches. On top of that, RedMagic flat-out confirmed that the Snapdragon 8 Elite will fuel its new RedMagic 10 series.

The RedMagic 10 Ultra will have a 7,000mAh battery & support 100W fast charging

Well, now, a well-known tipster said that a 7,000mAh battery will also be included, along with 100W charging. This information comes from Digital Chat Station, one of China’s most accurate tipsters.

On top of all this, it’s also worth noting that an under-display camera will be included, for an unobstructed gaming experience. The phone will also come with advanced cooling, a physical fan, shoulder triggers, and other gaming-centric features you’d expect.

The RedMagic 10 and RedMagic 10 Pro are also expected to arrive, though. Their displays are said to be slightly smaller, but still truly large. They will be similarly powerful to the ‘Ultra’, it would seem, but we still don’t have all the information.

At least some of the models will be available globally

It is worth noting that the previous RedMagic gaming smartphones did arrive to global markets. They did first launch in China, but the global launch followed not long after that. They’re usually also not as expensive as you’d think.

The RedMagic 9 Pro is the last handset from the company we reviewed, and it turns it’s a great phone. We did also review their previous devices, and they’re constantly getting better. So, we have high hopes for the RedMagic 10 series.

We still do not know when will these smartphones become official, though. RedMagic did start teasing them, but it did not announce a launch date. We do have a feeling they’re coming soon, though. It’s also worth noting that the RedMagic Nova gaming tablet was announced last month.

The RedMagic 10 gaming smartphone series launch date has been confirmed. The devices will become official on November 13, so in less than 10 days from this point. The event will start at 3 PM China time / 9 AM CET / 8 AM BST / 3 AM EST / midnight PST.

The RedMagic 10 series launch date has been confirmed by the company

The company not only confirmed the launch date, but the partial design too. If you check out the launch announcement image below, you’ll see the phone’s front side, and its left side too.

RedMagic 10 series launch announcement

As expected, the device does not have a display camera hole or a notch. It will include an under-display camera, and very thin bezels too. That’s something we’ve been seeing from the company for a couple of generations now.

It’s an ideal setup for gaming, as you don’t have a hole punch standing in the way. Also, the phone’s sides will be flat, so the phone should be less slippery while you’re gaming.

We can also see a cutout for the fan on the left side of the device. That’s something we’ve seen on previous models too. The power/lock and volume rocker buttons will sit on the right-hand side of the device.

We don’t get to see the shoulder triggers here, but that’s something the phone will incorporate as well. Various other gaming features will be included, along with advanced cooling, and a high touch sampling rate of the phone’s display.

A 7,050mAh battery is expected, along with a huge display

We do expect to see three cameras on the back of the device too. The RedMagic 10 Pro+ model is tipped to have a 7,050mAh battery and a display that will be larger than 7 inches. A 144Hz display was also mentioned, as was 120W charging.

What’s interesting is that RedMagic specifically mentioned the RedMagic 10 Pro series in its launch announcement. Is it possible we’ll be getting the RedMagic 10 Pro and RedMagic 10 Pro+, without the vanilla model? Will the company ditch the vanilla name? It remains to be seen. The ‘Ultra’ model was also rumored, so… who knows.

The RedMagic 10 series will launch in China first, but it’ll make its way to global markets too. That includes both Europe and the US. Also, the Snapdragon 8 Elite will fuel these phones.

As usual, to give 4% buffer to their claim on the screen to body ratio
GSMArena stated 91% instead of the proclaimed 95%

Buying this year bro? :s13:
Thinking to....maybe next year as I can't get over the experience in using a foldable phone though the battery life is not as good as candy bar phones

Difference between them;
Everything is enlarged on a foldable
Rm10p has a much bigger battery

However, I'm looking forward to the official announcement on Nubia Z70 ultra

Not durable, friend's fold 5 can only show half display. Battery life also not as good.
The only thing which you can't find on other phones, mate 20x has a 7.2" screen though 340+PPI
Other than that, mate 20x had already lost out in many other ways
-bigger battery
-super fast charging
- camera
-wifi 6 and Bluetooth
-slimmer bezels
-cpu

This over every smartphone, for the very high screen to body ratio and very fast charging

Downgrade for the 10 pro version. No 16gb/512. Only 12gb/512. A bit disappointing on this part
