Yah me stuck at 2.5G Edge.
NB no more XM phone for me.
This problem on this phone is really CMI.
There are various phones retail at this price point (maybe battery wise and ram not as great as redmi 3S) but I so far had not heard of any of those cheap phones stuck at 2G or 2.5G network.
BTW reboot the phone and go to
Setting -> Sim Card & mobile networks > Select default or master sim > Prefer network type > Select prefer3G or LTE
Could not fixed the issue.
Already update the the most recent and stable MIUI liao.
Just to add on,
I purchase the device from the Suntec store in OCT
- out of box MIUI 7
and this occurs everyday
- I upgrade to Miui 8
Same issue just that not as bad as MiUI 7
Yeah same here, i am applying for a return via lazada's return policy hopefully they will accept my request and refund me.
and yes, xiaomi really suck, this very serious issue also never fix
even my main driver ( Doogee X5, Some china brand also never had issues like this.
3G all the time and the specs is way lower, compared to this xiaomi
if cannot return i really LLST
