I might throw away this phone and get myself a Samsung galaxy M51 with 7000mah battery and Snapdragon chipset which many bros here like this Snapdragon as they say it the best chipset and this Samsung M51 phone is amoled display with save battery on dark mode/themes/background. The current phone I use take very long to charge fully, even 85% took 1 hour to charge and mediatak chipset super lousy standby drain battery like water, if you don't use the phone the sot not so good. Yesterday I battery is 2% after 3-4 days never charge and it take nearly 3 hours to full charged as a lot of time wasted. Although the redmi 9A claimed to have 1000 full charge cycle but super slow charging and standby drain like water really turn me off.

That is the issue with maintaining spare phones. It is better to have just one phone. I always leave my phone for charging overnight. Redmi Note 4X has lasted me more than 3 and half years already.

xiaomi is just too powderful in naming sense.... :s22::s22::s13::s13:

Xiaomi to bring its new Redmi Note 9 series to India as the Redmi 9 Power and Mi 10i

Xiaomi and its love for 9
Rebranding products differently in different regions is not new — not for Xiaomi, and not for a lot of other OEMs. It is a very common practice in the industry wherein you release the same product, or a similar product with very small changes, under different names in different regions. The branding changes according to the goodwill in the region. And Xiaomi’s Redmi and Redmi Note lineups have garnered a strong reputation for themselves over the years across the world.

But with Xiaomi, Redmi, Redmi Note and the number “9”, we are at a point where it has become very difficult to track products, especially if you track them across different regions as we do. Mishaal put together a list to better illustrate this point.

wah sg also dun have the xiaomi redmi note 9T? (aka Redmi note 9 5G pro)

den again i wonder is it worth to choose 9T over poco m3 even though both are essentially the similar phone?
:s22:

Note 9T 5G is Chinese Note 9 5G while Mi 10T Lite is Chinese Note 9 Pro 5G.

IMDA equipment certification got Note 9T but launch nowhere to be seen.

Between 9T and M3 is more of whether you need an Ultrawide angle camera and more RAM (6GB) for 128GB version. The 4/64 versions for both are at the same 199 price officially.

Don't understand why Xiaomi Singapore isn't bringing in the NFC Version of the Redmi 9T. NFC Payments like Google Pay is already widely used here in Singapore.
:s22:

I believe it's more on decision by region instead of by Xiaomi Singapore themselves.

Xiaomi Chinaman CEO pattern more than badminton. One model can come out so many versions.

They can but in sg if you look at phones with nfc 3-4 years ago are all flagship touted as a flagship feature.

1-2 years ago nfc trickle down to flagship killer and upper mid endphone like redmi note 8 pro vs redmi note 8 (which note 8 pro commanded a sig margin in pricing compared to note 8) then the market reacted ans they come out with note 8T which still commanded a margin over note 8

Maybe this year can be the year of full nfc for entry and mid end phones since 480 for entry levels also has 5G already, so why not nfc.

That’s been said we are some of the countries which uses nfc, big markets in India and China they use QR quotes for payment so nfc will be popularised if these 2 countries to start to roll out nfc payment

I believe it's more on decision by region instead of by Xiaomi Singapore themselves.

Oh whelp... that's gonna take a very long while. We all can only hope that NFC become more popular in SG, rather than waiting for those 2 countries.
