Brothers who bought their phones below SGD400 and gotten taxed due to UPS.
Pls write in to customs_refund@customs.gov.sg to put pressure on UPS shady practice :D

They replied me that they will look into the issue, though it's not a very big money but atleast don't let them earn the hordes of $15 so easily

I think Govt might introduce GST for all purchases through e-commerce platform soon but who knows when, nobody can tell....

Maybe if ppl starts to write in with these sort of feedbacks and claims, I would think it is a negative approach and it might trigger the acceleration and imposition of gst for All purchases regardless of the amount.

Penny wise pound foolish thought .... just saying.

All i know is my import phone freight&insurance is declared twice and incurred GST at current threshold of SGD400.

But anything and whatever rocks your boat to introduce import GST at all amount

Yep, I am resorting to reaching out to Customs directly. Very bad service at UPS side.:s22:

Yep same restriction here bro. My 8 yrs good old mi account has been used to unlock another device 3 weeks ago hence couldn't unlock this one, then I realized only one device every 30 days. lol...

So had to create another new account tied to my second sim but still subjected to the 168hrs wait. Luckily, it is not the 360hrs many had faced. :D Interestingly enough, my old mi account was able to unlock past 3 devices instantly, even though its done roughly a year apart each time.

thought of creating new mi account to unlock, but didnt want to have too many mi accounts, otherwise next time wanna keep track very troublesome.

think will just leave my wife's k30 locked ba.

just not sure how to flash the miui 12 stock rom for her set.

Why wanna unlock your wife's k30 leh? Her device is on CN ROM just do OTA upgrade can get miui 12 already mah...

Since there's no physical airway bill
I just realized we can scan the qr and retrieve some details and the USD value on the parcel.
Mine was declared usd261 on package. Based on tax invoice, mine have additional usd29.50
