attempt to unlock new k30 using main account - 30 day restriction

attempt to unlock new k30 pro using main account - 168 hr

my k30 pro is here.
GST 32.18
admin fee 15

GST computed based on 459 SGD.
phone charge 442 SGD.

shipping double charge based on 459 - 442 = $17
excess paid $1.19

total cost for k30 pro, $489

What about your K30? Has it arrived? NO GST right? ;)

ya. i suspected that new phones will get the 168hr.

Some folks on xda even gotten 360hrs wait time, so count yourself lucky. ;)

BTW, since your K30 arrived, want to check with you how is the reception on singtel network given the lack of B7?

I had just sold my racing at a lost, and bought a K30 8GB/256GB instead. Would have gone with pro if not for the 60hz screen. Die die must have 120hz. lol.... if your K30 on singtel network is having good reception, I'll probably switch plan too.

think need to reformat the micro sd to "burst" the official limit.
havent tried with such a high capacity sd before.

but why you need such a high storage?
thats half a TB you are carrying around.

May I know how u guys keep the apps alive and notifications coming? I already set some apps to having no battery restrictions, showing on lock screen, auto start etc, but notifications are either delayed or are not showing. Mails are also not syncing and pushed despite setting them as such. WhatsApp on web will show phone not connected after a while until I need to on the app on phone again.

While the battery optimisation is good, but miui seems to be too aggressive in constantly killing background apps. All solutions I found online are either before miui12 or are already what I did. Any advices? Thanks.

Wow thanks, didn't know still got this trick. I'll do more research on it.

Actually half a TB not much. Can only load a dozen albums. Mostly DSD and 24bit FLACs. Planning to use the phone as a DAP connecting either ibasso DC-01 or FiiO BTR5 depending on mood so that I don't have to bring along my AK DAP and phone when outdoor.

It depends what apps you want to test the difference regarding the refresh rate. For the launcher, setting, etc it is already running 120hz. If you hold another 60hz device side by side, you can see the different.

Browser wise, to know which browser support 120hz or only 60hz. Use https://www.testufo.com/
And you will realized a lot of browsers couldn't do 120hz. I've tested all the popular ones and found a hidden gem - Samsung internet which was recently updated to support the launch of S20 ultra. Therefore its been optimized to do 120hz.

Gaming wise, here's a list of games which does support.

What audio gear are you using for your phone?

How much you sold your racing? And how much did you paid for it all in?

Anyone can share your list of system apps which you had used to debloat and doesn't suffer bootloop consequences?

So far what I read from a few articles surrounding this topic points to these couple of apps which will cause problem if debloated:
  • com.xiaomi.market - getapps
  • com.xiaomi.finddevice

These are what I had debloated so far. Still experimenting with others not stated below.
com.miui.hybrid.accessory
com.miui.hybrid
com.miui.player
com.miui.fm
com.miui.video
com.sohu.inputmethod.sogou.xiaomi
com.miui.gallery
com.miui.voiceassist
com.xiaomi.payment
com.mipay.wallet
com.android.fileexplorer

currently using Xelento, Samba and Cascade as my portable setup. Highly recommended you go audition these too. warning: it can be poisoning. lol

if you still curious of the prices, you can pm me. don't wanna dwell on this topic here since that gst issue is kinda controversial. don't wanna get on people's nerve.

Thanks for the test bro. So it seemed in terms of peak speed the lack of B7 still does have some level of impact.

What about blindspot? Got experience any? Or gotten missed call notifications but phone didn't ring? Or sms otp not working?
