Redmi Note 4 or Redmi 5 Plus?

Seeking opinions here since I want to change my phone. Redmi Note 4 seems more worth it since the specs are nearly equal and now it's cheaper. But note 4 is quite old and I worry it will not last for updates compared to 5 Plus. Am I right about this?

I would choose the Redmi 5 Plus, for its trendy 18:9 ratio display and the slightly better camera.

It has improvement compared to Redmi Note 4, but not significant enough that's why I said slightly.

Updates will not be a problem if you're on custom ROMs.

The Note 4x will be the most value for money unless you prefer a 18:9 ratio.
