Jokes aside. Why u use a non local phone for serious work, trying to wrestle with the non local rom, then flash global rom again? Isn't that more trouble. stick to known local brand/rom, use the china phone for experimental purposes? No? Hope this is not a dumb suggestions.

i think the one u are looking at 4gb ram 64gb internal storage
u may consider 6gb ram 64gb internal storage abit faster around $289++

price wise it is cheaper bro.....it don't beak the phone warranty...it is still covered by China xiaomi even u already change to Global Rom and it not that hard to flash the rom never took days or week.....and i got personal phone on standby
company pay $300 for it....i dont want to use my own personal phone for work.....company also don't care if it spoilt......ur personal phone ur own responsibilty.......so i get this phone and so far this phone fit all i want and i dont have to top up much from my own pocket money

i used the china rom for like 2 weeks and distrupt my work when some of the apps are not working.......i dont have time to learn and find more about how to use china rom.....my work is more important than learning the phone setting or whatsoever.....if it only 4g issue as u mention i dont care less.....but if it got issue with other apps not working then waste my time buy the phone just because i simply want to use it for work purpose
BTW it took me only 20 min to complete flash and install the global rom...and i dont need to learn how to use global rom....plug and play thats it



yeah i just cut from the book guide dummies who act know everything

Took me only 5 mins to set up my China rom phones without any unlocked bl or flashing of roms lol

Is this all applicable if buy China phone install global rom? BL have to unlock and no banking app?

most xiaomi phones nowadays take a week if not more to unlock, and a few days of waiting is still much longer than if you just install gplay services on china rom and both would work equally well (from what I heard). the note 7 I hooted from taobao took a week. last time they increase from 3 days to minimum 2 weeks, if really suay then kena 1 month waiting to unlock, now only pocophone cfm 3 days unlock time. also global rom is still miui, dk what google global rom you are talking about, unless u are talking about custom roms like pixel exp (which I recommend instead of using global miui). unlocking bl might break safetynet, which some banking apps and even snapchat use to authenticate security of devices. that time I kena uob app don't want open cos of this.

I've been doing this for years and follow xiaomi news closely, so I know what I'm talking about.

Because of the GPS which is not suited for most sg apps that need it like grab, sg bus, travel apps. Takes forever to lock on to location

I bought my mipad4 from finer before. I do not think they are capable of flashing it correctly. I have also installed google playstore into china rom for my mipad4. So far so good. Can watch and play games.

Just get my set from flower mobile lazada seller. There is no imda sticker behind and come with 2-pin europe charger. Have global version stucker on the box.

Then email xiaomi service center and their reply is as quoted below:

“I would like to inform you that if you had purchased the product from our official channel, we could guarantee it to be genuine. Also, the warranty of your device considered from the date mentioned in the invoice.



Please walk or step in at any of our service center along with the invoice in order to diagnose your device as we are not authorized to check the warranty of the device from our end and the invoice is a mandatory document for claiming the warranty of the device”

Maybe if i got time, will try to walk in to service center. Otherwise, just leave it as it is as long as the phone got no problem

I think it could be permission problem, cause the Whatsapp will read and extract the verification code that is send to your phone. Could be it didn't work because it doesn't have permission to read your contact or something..
