I think dont need to expect NFC and ufs storage for Redmi series wan. It's been known they don't put in to cut cost and also differentiate from Mi series.
Pocophone is different story.

Just want to point out there is no NFC even in Pocophone, so no need to expect NFC in Redmi Note 7 Pro.

As far as I know, only Mi 5/5s/5s+/6/7/8/9, Mi Note 2/3, Mi Mix 1/1/2S/3 have NFC. Among them only Mi Note 3 is not considered to be flagship.

$310 for 6Gg ram/64gb ROM is cheap.... pretty much what I paid for mine in Feb. $269 for 4gb ram model. Same seller. Ya, don't opt for the playstore preinstall. Also check where they have in stock or they waiting for China stock to fly in. I had to wait almost 2 weeks for mine.

If Redmi Note 7 Pro indeed has UFS storage, we should expect to see it make it to models like upcoming Mi Max 4 and Mi A3 given their positioning compared to the Redmi Note series.

Actually I don't see the need for NFC. It's not widely used in Singapore currently, so it's good to have but not impt must have.

It may need more than just installing Play store apk. Unless you don't mind using the China ROM. Not everyone like using the China ROM, mainly we don't get to use the functions and I find too many hidden stuff le. I am not too updated how to change ROM now. It seems like need to unlock flash to EU rom for now, then global ROM later

Malaysia Mi official liao. RM949 is good pricing for 4gb RAM 128gb. And I am actually quite impressed they do carry the 18 months warranty like China does. Let's see if Singapore Mi can compete the pricing and warranty...

But pocco F1 also don’t have nfc leh only the mi and mix series have but very strange only in SEA Asia does nfc seen as a premium either Moto phones almost whole series have nfc, how about Nokia?
