India's Redmi Note 7 is inferior to the one in China which is why its cheaper. Its using 12MP + 2MP camera and not the GM1 used on China set. The back also not gradient colour.

Nice. Wah Mi8 lite 4/64 lazada official store is $349! >$50 more than 'unkown ' online sellers ($295). In another words, expect N7 6/64 to well exceed $300 from local official store.

Those online sellers are probably export sets. The price is always better provided you don't mind the lack of official warranty

Already got Snapdragon 800 and 600 series. You only need SD700 phone.

Passed by a Xiaomi shop today, so pop in to fiddle with their phones. Then out of kaypo i asked the staff if they know when RMN7 will come. He is like few months lor, will cost $300+ $400, dont wait lah. Come I suggest you pick Mi8 Lite 128gb better... And he keeps saying how Redmi series are not as good as the Mi phones (duh i know).

Then I ask which Xiaomi phones can support wireless charging, he says all Mi Mix series. I was like errr Mi Mix 2 also??? He says yes, 2 2S 3....

Btw, about installing gapps on the chinese rom RMN7 . It should be quite the same process from last time right? I had RMN2 and RMN4 now, RMN2 came with China rom and I had to google how to install gapps from scratch. After that when global rom came, i flashed to global rom le.

Now for the china rom RMN7, same thing I can install gapps, but would I be able to flash global rom when its officially out?

Then again, already flashed to EU rom. Now jus waiting for global rom release

Unlock bootlocker, then install custom recovery for the RMN7 should be same procedure

What do you mean by no data? Cannot use the 4G mobile data (cannot surf web/HWZ/youtube)?

Yep, for some reason no data on TPG. My M1 and singtel line OK. I put the TPG card into my stock Mipad 4 LTE with China rom works though

This is good info for others. Continue to update your findings here. Maybe when more ppl get their hands on RMN7, they can help you solve. Also India is 2nd country to launch, how come RmN7 got EU Rom?

this 660AIE is appearing in more and more phone in 2019. Meizu is launched and price comparable with RMN7?
