AFAIK it is not advisable to uninstall the stock camera app.

the gcam port for RN7 works for pictures but still fail for video

refer to XDA for complete details.

Able to uninstall the stock camera also? I want to use google camera as my default cam so that my shortcut key are able to enable it when the screen is off.

this ******'s personal data mining and selling company is really extra sneaky with their programs, that app was the 1st thing i dragged to uninstall from the phone, but surprise surprise, their files were still on the phone system.

"enclosed in insulated, electronically temperature controlled pods"

How they keep the lithium battery warm enough to operate at sub zero temps?

Posted from PCWX using Pixel 2 XL

anyone can do it, all the materials required can be purchased online, most expensive being the tank of helium, launching in malaysia would be a better location for retrieval.

After seeing this video, I wonder is it for real or just a gimmick... lol

So, literally this video tells us that Redmi Note 7 have no issue surviving subzero environment. Hmm...

did it really survive?

a room full of "engineers" and they decided to film the back of the phone while they sent the phone up?

what is the purpose of not showing the screen? compare that to those water immersion tests with the stopwatch function running...

when something is not shown that can definitively show that it functions and survive, that only means that there is something to hide.

allah damn it, i knew i would regret purchasing this phone over the Redmi 7... should have really taken the lower spec'd camera and processor just for the microUSB connector.... !@#(&%)!(@*^%(!)($)_$#*()#$^*&_!#&%

5 years on and the USB-C fiasco still hasn't been properly addressed... and now i got to start a new USB cable collection...

I think i will just order some USB 2.0 ones from aliexpress and call it a day seeing that this phone only came with 10W charger and make sure i do not purchase anymore USB-C product for at least another 5 years... hoping they would have a better fix for their fiasco...

the lack of market adoption after 5 years of introduction... or rather, the lack of market standardization.

the cable that came with the phone is a USB 2.0 cable.

also, the lack of available QC4+ chargers and USB 3.1 cables that can handle the 24W power rating is still over priced. Both are due to lack market saturation and conformity.

What happen with the usb-c connector?

As per all such phones PI retailers already have whereas local official online stores still haven’t in yet

Do we have realme 3 pro at singapore market? If i read correctly, the pro version have snapdragon 710 instead of mediatek p60.

this most recent china off-brand is looking decent, and they give you a 20W charger out the box.

not advisable, as you introduce a major point of failure to the cable, and also, this route, the USB-C connection is definitely relegated to 10W charging.

the USB-C 2.0 cables are not that expensive, just have to find a decently built one. I've ordered 2 cables each from 5 different sellers on aliexpress and will be cutting into them when they arrive to look at their build quality.

Hm.. maybe can get the USB-C adapter?

Then you can reuse all the old cable. :s13:

not available on the resale market yet, their 3 flash sales was sold out instantly, can try direct from their india website on for their 4th flash sale on 13th May

china brand launching in india, it definitely points to market saturation in china and the next up and coming middle class boom will be in india
