I have a few sets of Redmi Note 8 Pro used by few family members. All on global rom and never fiddled with the firmware except for OTA update.
My sister's set is stuck with firmware v12 0.8.0 QGGMIXM whereas the other sets are on v12.5.7.0. Tried manually install thru updater but got error "Can't verify update".
Googled around and some advised upgrade to v12.5.1.0 first but still got same error.
Some advised change the downloaded rom filename to update.zip, but still fail to install.
Have also tried updating the Updater software to v7.6.3 via apk install,as it wasn't able to update itself. This also had same "Can't verify update" error.
Anyone has any advice how to resolve?
