I saw $180 was cheapest in carousell gobal rom.

Maybe bargain a bit can get some discount.

You do what to the phone till it gets very hot at times?

Actually watch video/live streaming phone can get hot too.
My old man worse, CHARGING the phone and watch youtube at the same time then he complain say the phone very hot maybe going to spoil liao I told him buy you $1800 fruit pro max you like that use also will spoil.

1. No screen protector. But mine comes with a silicone rubber case with side engraved Designed by Xiaomi. I'm using and pretty good feel. Screen protector you need to buy yourself.

2. I don't use it to play games...only watch YouTube occasionally. No issue with heat.

I only buy from shoppee Xiaomi official store. The handset is shipout from China...but is loaded w global ROM. Can work out of the box.
In fact during setup, can see already set as Singapore.

Would like to share a little info on this.

This online store is only in charge of fulfilment. Once the set arrives and there are problem out of the box, you go straight to Funan. If the set is truly faulty, ask them for replacement, don't accept repairs. You are entitle to do exchange. Only issue is that you have to wait as Funan don't keep stock.

my teen's almost 1 year old redmi note 8 decided to stop charging today (6 days shy of 1 yr old to be exact)

funan service centre say there is water damage with corrosion inside and they will not repair it under warranty. quote $280.

should i buy parts from aliexpress to repair it or buy a new one?

B4 going to Funan, did you smack your teen why he/she nv take proper care of the phone? I see a lot of strawberries like to use phone under the rain - really no use brain one

Is Redmi Note 8 pro the most value for money NFC phone? I am planning to replace my nearly 3.5 yr old Redmi Note 4X haha. I have some qoo10 Qmoney, so ideally would like to buy using qoo10, but if there is big discount in Shopee, dont mind also. Please suggest! Thanks!
