yes, but can circumvent it by following the root guide on the previous page and flashing magisk. magisk can help pass safetynet required for gpay. most local bank apps don't check, only stanchart app will check, but also can hide magisk from the app, so I've been using gpay for public transport, posb and stanchart apps on my phone no problem.

Indian Redmi Note 8 Pro got dedicated sd slot as well. But they lose NFC.

$30 diff... but think currently shop dun have 128gb variant yet. online sites have but not sure abt their local warranty status.

quite a few actually, if u bothered to google first. the pro has a slightly more powerful processor, a 64mp main camera vs 48mp, nfc and slightly larger battery.
