I see some speculation on weibo saying these upcoming Redmi 5G phones may be called Redmi 10X 5G and Redmi 10X Pro instead.

Redmi Note 10 could be reserved to the next half of 2020, to co-align with global launch of Redmi Note 10 too.

I may be wrong, since it's just preliminary speculation.

By the time SG has 5G it would be already redmi note 15 liao.

So no point getting this 5G edition.

If we are lucky in 2 years time maybe orchard or MBFC will have 5G coverage.

there is no good time to wait for a phone. No point waiting for a phone. If your current phone serves its purposes, don't need to change. Unless, your phone is really in need for a change, then get it.

Can never wait finish, later they release Note10, then comes Note 10S, Note 10 Pro, Note 10 Lite, Note 10 Zoom, Note 10 Youth, Note 10 Pioneer Generation.
After releasing, then comes Note 20. Never ending.

Low take up rates I believed. Any average guy would have known better to contract for iphone, resell it, and purchase any fullpriced xm phone for better value

No point getting 5g phone now
By the time 5g stable in sg, its alr 2-3 yrs later and its time for u to change another phone
If the phone using 8xx chip, the phone wont be cheap for early adopter
So why pay extra for something that u wont be using now?

Singtel listed Mi Note 10, the only Xiaomi phone available through Singtel. Not sure about other telcos..

is not about 5g only...if the price just slightly higher abit den note 9 why not waiting for better spec...
