Btw Gigabyte released BIOS level fan control with F20+ BIOS (kabylake support BIOS), previous BIOSes don't have this.
You might want to install those to avoid installing excessive amounts of control panel software.

erh it's kind of teasing my inexperience in building a pc.. the provided information is obviously not enough for me cos i lack some common knowledge :o

didnt mention abt reorganising cable in that post..think i will first make sure it works fine when i add the gpu, then worry abt cable management

The manual has quite a lot of information already. If this is your first time, it is expected that you may not understand some portions. Cant really blame the companies for it.

Also, reorganising cables is users' initiative, not coy initiative though. They had given you the holes for you to secure as you deem fit.

Lastly, i dun think u can transfer the license from laptop to desktop as it is registered to your laptop when purchased. Unless you were using the full retail package of Windows.

anyway my laptop came with a win7 ard 4yrs ago, i paid around 20usd to upgrade it to win8 during thr promo period, and it upgrades to win8.1 then win10 for free. does that still mean i cant transferred the license? cos i think in this case the license is not linked to my laptop?

It is linked to your laptop, regardless of the updates you had spent on. Cant be transfered to your desktop.

How about if he choose nv to use laptop again or laptop spoil already also cannot transfer?

Nth he can do, this is how Microsoft makes money.... If all licenses can be transferred, then how they make money out of us and from businesses?

If laptop spoil, he has to bring back to manufacturer to repair. Im sure they will have their ways to reinstate back the OS.
