Reformatted laptop itunes sync.

Hi All,

Recently i have reformatted my laptop hence i have to re-installed my itunes as well.

Questions : How do i transfer all my songs, pics, tones, internet favourite back into the itunes?
Or how do i transfer what i have in the laptop to the iphone?

When i go into the songs portion or pictures portion etc in the "new itunes", it seems it is virtually empty even i have the exisiting backup before i reformat the pc.

So if i sync them back in the iphone to do a backup or renew, everything will be gone isn't it.

Pls guide and advice...

not sure how others will advice you.

I normally backup the itunes folder where all the songs and apps are stored.

this way, i can drag the songs and movies back into the new itunes library. same for the apps.... i copy back into the revalent folder.

By right, you can't sync the songs back into itunes from the phone. Apps can do "transfer purchases".

by left, you can google for sw to export the ipod contents out.
