Dear Mods,

I received 6 points for using a word:
****
Never knew that this word is a "vulgarity", could someone please help to clarify on this generous point award? Quite surprised this word is so offensive as it is a commonly used word that I encounter quite often online and offline. To receive 6 points for such a word, and on the other hand words like "imbecile", "ignoramus" and posts with personal attacks implying that others have sub-par intelligence is not considered offensive at all.

"****" is offensive? but "imbecile" and "ignoramus" is not consider derogatory? Internet points aside, but kinda over the top right?

So how many languages do we have to incorporate into the words filter?

dialects included?

As many users in the thread also commented, I'm one of those users not aware that an offensive term and am only using it as a replacement word for "sia" as in "heng sia".
then if we talk abt Singapore international airlines (SIA) ish kym?

or gotch system to sieve out specific words & spellings like resume in job hunting?
