Regarding PSU

Hi all, I would like to seek your opinion if a 550W PSU is sufficient for the following configuration?

- i5 4690
- GTX1070
- 2 SSDs (500GB and 250GB)
- 2 SATA HDDs (1 TB and 2 TB)
- 2 SATA Optical Drives (1 Blur Ray writer and 1 DVD Writer)
- 1 PCIe soundcard

Thanks in advance as I am eyeing at SEASONIC Focus Plus FX-550.

Even a 450W is enough. But do get the psu you're eying. Damn good.

Gotten the Seasonic Focus+ Gold 550FX. Now having a problem, installed it and it doesn't boot up. Reverted to my old Thermaltake PSU and it still runs.. Guess it will be a trip down to Corbell... Sigh..

if not mistaken if it is within 7 days u can exchange it @ lazada
u no need to run a trip to corbell

When I disconnected every sata device including my OS drive, it can boot up. But when I only plug in the OS drive, it won't boot.

Try changing sata data and power cable?

Actually when it did not boot up, I swapped the psu with my old psu and reconnected all the drives and it worked (thermaltake), so I guess the problem doesn't lie with the pci-e cables and power cable. However since my thermaltake is semi-modular, I am unable to check if the problems lie with the cables for the MB and the cpu.. Now can only slowly try to troubleshoot on others.

did u try to plug it on the right point and see whether it is working?
got indicate M/B......CPU/PCI-E...Peripheral etc etc

don't plug the HDD to M/B(Mobo) point anyway it is different

even if your thermaltake is not modular you also cannot test, psu cables are not interchangeable if I am not wrong.
