Regarding Regular Downpes

Hi guys,

Writing this thread with a troubled mind, I am currently a regular in service in my early stages ( have not went through SCS yet ), signed on as a WOSpec under study scheme. Recently, during training developed knee complications which hinders my training and performance, pain and throbbing of the knee when doing physical activities. Am still able to push through but not sure how far...

Anybody knows if as an combat fit regular （pes a ) if i got down pes will my bond be broken? or will I be able to post to another unit to continue to serve and work towards this career of mine that I have been wanting to seek?

My initial phase was to go through BMT > SCS > Then to my combat unit.

Before ya'll come hard on me, I am not trying to chao keng but looking at the worst case scenario as I really do not want that to happen to me.

why don't u check with your pers department?

why don't u check with your G1 branch on this?

assume your condition is able to give u PES B, u should have no issues in your career

if let's say your PES becomes IPPT exempted during your SCS phase, chances are you will be OOT reassigned to support vocations and you will undergo their own support vocational trainings for specialists.

As for what about being revocated after obtaining 3SG. Yes you will still be in support roles but it will be more towards combat-related units.

make sure your s1 prepare the injury card for u so u can get free treatment for life. dont delay.

I know someone who signed on but developed injury. He served a few years as PES C captain rank to finish his bond. then quit

my advise is as long is medical related, be sure to seek professional opinion as soon as possible.

otherwise, more pain or inconvenience to your remaining life if you choose to drag.

If you want the injury card you should inform now because it happened at bmtc.

If you can tahan but drop out halfway later in SCS you can get cpl.
