yeah i agree, if it aint tough its not military.

ST or Security Trooper is the upgraded Regimental Police.

Theres 2 types of course, the ST Leader(for specs) and ST Basic(men).

From there it branches out to 3 main components, Army(normal ST) Airforce( Field Defence SQN(FDS)) and Navy(either TDS( Tuas Defence SQN) or CDS( Changi Defence SQN) and you'll be known as Sea Soldiers) --->http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YB1O2-pRo-0 more info on CDS.

8 weeks course... monday to friday stay in. Dont worry , u got ur CNYs holidays! U will a specialist in camp security. Upgraded RP sort of thing

I'm also RP 8SIR 2PDF Clementi Camp. Can someone share what training will be like? Saw some people are posted to same place but vocation is sea soldier. What is the difference between that and RP? And what is a security trooper? Thanks.

basically RP and sea soldier the basic training will be in clementi camp. cos all specialise in POI. after a few wks the sea soldier ppl will go to naval base to train while the rest stay behind.

course is quite laidback, shld be much better than bmt, and learn alot of stuff.

but now RP not so good life le, in due time all will be duty-off cycle and not 8-5 like last time...

Oh I see. So after the training is completed at Clementi Camp, I will be posted to some other camp and commence duty?

should be work 24 hour, off 1 day and standby the next day or something like that la.

GamerXz said it's a 8-week course. But I heard from my friend that it's a 6-week course. So, I guess I should just find out myself when I go in there...
