Is they any REIT that give dividend more than twice a year? My endowment plan expire end of November and like to use the spare money to make money. I do not want to buy another insurance and is for short time use.

I have a Fidelity Global Multi Assest that I bought for $5k but end up paying 2 to 3 percent sales charge to POSB. I get $18 monthly for this plan. Any better one than this? Thanks

Short time use? You don't put money into REITs if you intend to put it there for "short term"*. REITs as an instrument class is not as stable people think they are.

*Unless your definition short term is >>5 years. If so you are still better off putting it in an ETF if you can't evaluate individual stock counters yourself and instead have to rely on stock tips**.

**A good way to lose money.

Yes, same question(s): why overweight real estate, why with something that distributes funds requiring your attention (and commission charges) to reinvest rather than simply automatically reinvesting distributions? What are the goals you're trying to achieve?

Just want to make money out of it better than putting in saving account and earning peanuts. I saw CIMB has an attractive rate at 1.7 percent but too bad it end on 30 Nov. Because I have over $30k cash to spare
