my instructor was Mr Daniel Ng - 98566210

Hey guys!

I've read that quite a number of people here was being recommended to look for PDI Tan Kim Seong teaching 3A @ BBDC.

I tried contacting him just earlier today but unfortunately he is currently fully booked and is unable to accept any more new students. I asked him when he would be available, but his reply was "Sorry I can't really confirm, maybe end of the year".

That's a bummer! :(

I'd like to pass my license preferable by Nov this year.
In need of an instructor pronto, sigh.

Replying to my own post made a year ago;

Went to hunt for PDI (3A) myself and finally after procrastinating quite a bit, I got hold of Mr Tan Ser Chwee. Took lessons with him for a few months and passed my TP on the first try! Did not look up reviews about him prior to engaging him but now that I have, am shocked to see all the negative reviews about him! 😱

(Lengthy post, my review on him):

He was very patient with me from day 1, never once did he scold or raised his voice at me even after making repeated mistakes. True, he doesn't talk/nag much but when I asked him questions, he gave me straightforward answers. Will crack a few jokes every now and then, sometimes a bit lame lah but it helped to calm my nerves at times lol. I'm unable to speak mandarin nor any dialects, but his english was understandable to me. Tho his lessons were once a week but personally that worked fine for me. Has been on his phone once or twice when he was teaching me to park but I felt that didn't really affect how he taught me cuz his explanations about parking were very detailed, he even gave me a couple of useful guidelines down on paper. He has taken a few toilet breaks at the petrol kiosk beside bbdc during our lessons but it took no longer than 5mins so I didn't mind. And he has never cancelled on me before. Lastly, am not bothered by the fact that he doesn't remember my name, as long as he could recognize me as his student every week can liao lo! Maybe he was a grumpy lazy old man before but I find him quite the opposite honestly! :)

Is there a min number of lessons required by law?

Not really. What my PDI tells me, estimation of lesson will be around 18-25 lessons. Depending on how fast or how slow we can master. Need to be fully prepare before taking TP so you wont do too many mistakes during test.

Hello.. quick help needed. Anyone remembers the instructions for vertical parking in the circuit? When the L shape of the back window is aligned with the back right corner, turn full lock right to get the car into the lot is it?

Hi there. I found one instructor off pdireviews on the internet. Engaged him as my class 3 manual instructor, went for my second lesson today. He's very patient (so far so good for me), but unfortunately he's Chinese speaking. He teaches at Ubi. Pm me if you want his contact.
