hi anyone tested with Mr Ong Thiam Chai before ? is he a good instructor ?
To be honest, he is a very good instructor, though he is like a typical uncle, nags and complains a lot. However, you must be able to tahan his scolding and demoralizing sighs.

That's a lot of lessons! I took less than half of your 23 lessons. Took less than 10 lessons under a PDI.

How come you took so many lessons? Your PDI chop carrots? My PDI booked the TP for me after 4 lessons. Took another 4 or 5 lessons in the circuit (1hr) + road (half hour) after the first 4 lessons.

I remember learning to u-turn on the 2nd lesson and I was bored after the 2nd lesson, doing left, right and u-turns.
Hello! Could you share the contact of your PDI?

Hi, anyone knows of any good PDI teaching manual who does pick up from Tampines?

I just booked a lesson with Mr Teo kok eng who was recommended by my mum's colleague but I just realised that he teaches auto while i want to take manual.

I wouldn't recommend Mr. Teo Kok Eng. He introduced a new circuit course just a day before my exam and then another new course only an hour before the test, which was unnecessarily confusing and stressful. He's also late 10 mins once and never bothered refunding the missing time. As a result, I failed. Never again.

Eh MSCP? Most HDB MSCP got grace period, you just drive in and practise 5 minutes come out and repeat.
What do you want to practise in there anyway? Vertical parking can practise in open carpark also. Ramp up/down... unless you driving manual, nothing to practise isn't it?

Expressway, key thing is joining and leaving the expressway. This one, you just pick a low traffic period, go up and down a few times to get a feel then try again during busier period. Main thing is ramp up, speed up/match "left" lane . You cannot safely join if much slower than "left" lane traffic because that gives you smaller window. Unless in some places the "left" lane can be quite busy then you LLST have to slow or even stop to wait for an opening before the merging lane closes.
