sad to hear that, I took about 20 lessons already feel it is a lot...
if the PDI teach properly I think about 15-20 lessons is definitely enough to pass....
Hope you pass on your next attempt! Good Luck!

Hi,

Since you took your BTT years ago and BTT will not expire (FTT will expire), the record will be kept with Traffic Police.

1. If you going CDC, you'll need to open an account there, and retrieve your BTT record from the traffic police department there.

2. After retrieving your BTT record, you'll need to proceed to apply a Provision Driving License (PDL) from the Traffic Police Department at $25 (only valid 6 months, renewable).

3. With your PDL, you can find a private instructor and book lessons. At the same time you can book for your FTT

Hi, can I check with you if Mr Raymond's number is still the same? Would like to try to be taught under him since there were good recommendations about him :) Thanks!

Mr Ong :)

Dear all,

As what ninja_tuner had praised, Mr Ong is a really reliable instructor who is patient and truly care about your progress. When my test date is nearing, I urged for more practical lessons with increased frequency to prepare myself. But as everybody here probably knows, PDI have >70-80% full booking per day and Mr Ong being very considerate, offered to cancel some of his student lessons (whom are not as urgent such as still waiting to pass FTT) to make room for me.
I only attended circuit four days before my test date as Mr Ong is someone who believes that circuit is dependent on your maneuverability of the vehicle which with the mastery of the right techniques, one is able to control it. Whereas in comparison, day to day practice on road will heighten your awareness and attentiveness to the road circumstances as the road situation is ever-changing and unpredictable, even by the hour.

He is someone whom I recommended strongly as he ALWAYS call to remind my booking the day before, never overbooks my slot and I believe these qualities deemed him to be a great mentor for all learners.
I took Class 3A but under Regent Driving Service, they offered Class 3 (Manual) too.

I wouldn't say Id recommend Nr ng for those in e east, but would like to say that from all my lessons w him, ive never been touched or hit in any way. He'll nag n scold but nothing else lei. Oh most also pull or jerk my steering wheel if he feels that im gonna bang into things.
He is a very responsible and experienced teacher and driver in my opinion. Can even draw out everything and outline all the possible mistakes plus how to correct even befre you make that mistske so kudos to him. Lols

Good Instructor!

Hi All,

For those that are looking for a private instructor in Ubi, I would like to drop a recommendation for Mr Teo. He teaches Class 3A (Auto).

I was introduced to Mr Teo by Le Driving Instructors. A simple google search will get you to their site.

Mr Teo is a cheerful fella and is always ready to greet you with a warm smile. Don't be fooled by his happy-go-lucky disposition! He is extremely professional and meticulous when it comes to learning. He begins each lesson with a definite goal in mind and puts in the extra effort to ensure that I picked up the skills required.

Now, by no means will I classify myself as a fast learner, but I consider each lesson that I had with Mr Teo to be fruitful and enriching. I managed to pass my TP on my first attempt after 18 practical lessons.

I will recommend Mr Teo to anyone looking for a class 3A instructor in Ubi. Feel free to PM me for his details.

For those looking for instructors in other areas, you could try contacting Le Driving Instructors like I did, they should be able to help you find a good PDI.

Hope you guys find this review helpful! Cheers!

You just created your account this month to post your 1st post?

This thread is like a advertising thread for cheapo PDI to save on advertising fee.

Why don't the mod create a thread for advertisement and make it chargeable for advertising. :s13:

There are so many recommendation with 1st post user. Sound like scam.
