I've finished 20 lessons with a PDI and including 3 circuits at SSDC.
failed in the 1st attempt.

my previous pdi is a typical hokkien kbkp type that doesn't teach, but scold and make things sounds easy to a beginner. Been worse he doesn't like me to question back.

I need a reliable, patient & experience pdi for 3A that perhaps can speak some english and guide me in real life traffic situation & tips to pass my practical !

I stay at tiong bahru, how much usually to top up for pick up service?

Thanks for any contribution in advance.

can i ask a stupid question? Is it “must” to pay the enrollment fee to PDI for the 1st lesson?

Its not a must. But its currently the market trend/rate that almost every PDI now is charging. So it still depends on which PDI you looking for and if he charges or not.
For PDI the rates are all flexible unlike school, its like they own company, they charge whatever rate they like.

Hi guys, I just went to open an account at CDC today. I will be taking the e-trial before BTT, just wondering it is okay to book them back to back?

Eg. 13:15 - 14:05 E-Trial
14:15 - 15:05 BTT

Thanks in advance!

They doesn't allow anymore(they used to last year), the system will prompt you that the timing clashes, and you're unable to book the etrial RIGHT BEFORE the btt. I've called CDC and asked, just last month for my FTT. They said many students complained that they forgot that the actual test is right after their etrial, then demand for retaking. Therefore CDC changed the ruling and timing so that we're unable to book the etrial right before the test. Felt so cheated after I click booked for my FTT, cause I cant book a trial right before, instead is 2 hours before. Like stupid, finishing the etrial then sit for an hour, while you forgets all your mistakes during the trial. So I forget about the trial, and study with the book really really hard, memorize EVERYTHING. And I passed on FTT!

Good luck to you though. :)

Strongly recommend Mr Tan Kim Seong 81946933.
He is very focused in teaching with no radio disruption during lesson. Very patient and wont anyhow scold. He will point out mistakes and explain very carefully. i have tried 2 other instructors peter and mr teo before. i had very bad experience with them and failed twice. After reading through reviews in this forum, i found mr tan contact (after reading through many pages) i have passed my TP today! he is located at bukit batok, teaching auto driving

I passed my Class 3 on the second try. My PDI was Mr Chow Jie Seng, 9008 7777. He teaches at CDC. His teaching methods may not suit some people, as he is more focused on teaching how to pass the circuit and course (with a lot of sighting points to remember), rather than how to drive in general. He does give out tips and tricks for real life driving, but he believes that you need to have a lot of experience on the road to get better. Good for students who think that driving is an art and that you can't be an expert just by learning how to drive in school.

He would also sometimes lighten up the mood by joking a round a bit. He doesn't scold in the angry way, but more of whiny, the "Oh God Why" kind of way or by making up a joke about your mistake.

Even though he might sometimes (especially when you never messed up) play/use with his iPad, he is still very attentive. For example, he will know that I did not check my blindspot, even though he was using his iPad or whether I f-ed a segment of the circuit.

Overall, he's good for those who just want a quick way to pass (as opposed to letting you figure out how to do circuit on your own) and want an attentive and light hearted PDI.

Anyone can recommend PDI at CDC? Learning for both class 3 and class 3a. Please pm. Thank you.

Why are you learning both? If you have a Class 3 license, you can drive an automatic. :/
