Relocation fee or early termination fee?

I am moving house soon but my fibre broadband contract is still until Jan 2019.
I am using starhub at the moment.

I am considering between paying relocation fee ($120) or early termination fee (i am not sure how much).
anyone has experience to share?

Termination fee should cost higher usually. Since u still have 1 year to go.

Termination charges are stated on your contract.

Usually it is calculated based on the balance months remaining X monthly subscription.
And on top there is this disconnection charge of $32.10 said to be for NetLink Trust.

The $120 relocation fees is fixed.
This include both NLT and Starhub installation and activation.
This is ONE fee applicable and should not include any other charges.


Should you terminate and pay the respective termination charges.

Then you have to consider activation charges and any other charges applicable for new sign-up, depend on the ISP.

Do your calculation on the TOTAL amount involved should you terminate and sign-up to another ISP.

And compare it to a ONE Time charge of $120 inclusive of 7% gst.
