I recently moved house, so need to relocate my Singtel BB to new address.
Upon relocation, Singtel replaced a new ONR for me which caused me issues when I try to use my Asus AX88U router.
I requested for bridged mode on the ONR but problem still persist. On Asus config page, it keeps showing issues with ISP DHCP.
When I put the router in AP mode, my wifi cannot be connected. :(
Anyone has idea how to resolve this? How to configure Asus router in router mode with Bridged mode enabled on ONR.
Thanks in advance!

If the ONR is bridged, then you need to disable Singtel VLAN profile on your Asus.

You can also factory reset the Asus and set up again. DO NOT enable SingTel VLAN.

SingTel VLAN profile is only for SingTel ONT, not for bridged ONR.

As I mentioned, you may want to factory reset your Asus router first.

But are you sure you get a bridged Singtel ONR? What is the model of your ONR given? What is your Singtel Fibre Internet plan?

I was given Nokia G-240G. I’m on 1GB plan currently. Singtel engineer came and configured the bridged mode this morning. But I can’t get it to work. :(

Already did factory reset more than 3 times.

Did they tell you which ONR LAN port they bridge? There are four 1G LAN ports. Usually it is either ONR LAN Port 4 or LAN port 1. You may want to try them one by one.

You can connect a PC directly to the bridged ONR port to see if it gets Internet access.

If yes, then it is your RT-AX88U problem.

If not, call SingTel for support. Maybe they bridge wrongly.

It’s bridged to port 1. If I connect directly to the port I get internet access.
I got both AX88 and BE88, both hit the same issue. Going mad trying again and again.
I’m thinking to switch to Starhub which don’t have such issues as they are using ONT.

Just to make sure the bridging process is correct, connect your PC to Port 2/3/4 and it should NOT have Internet access.

If you can get Internet access by directly connecting a PC to the ONR port 1 and not other ports, then Singtel guy has done correct ONR bridging.

Then it is your router setup process issue. It should be very simple by following the Asus guide. A bridged SingTel ONR setup is the same as Starhub/M1 ONT.

Asus QIS guide using Web Interface.
