Hi,

I wanted to transfer my xigmatek cpu heat sink. I dont know what model it is, but it has a X-like bracket at the back of motherboard. I don't know if it is glued/double adhesive, but i can't remove it. Any suggestions on how to remove it?

Thanks.

Hi there,

You can peer through the gap slightly.
Most likely you used the thermal tape previously.(should be able to see it)
Just slowly pull the backplate and use a pen-knife to glide through the gap
to loosed the adhesive tape.
(Make sure it's not screwed at the front of the bracket.)
