Repair Shop @ sim lim

Hi,
I recently send my ipod nano for servicing as the LCD broke to a shop at sim lim and during the repair the man broke the click wheel he then was unable to put the click wheel back properly and told me that it was alright i was not given a discount but he said he would fix it again if anything was to happen. On my way back i noticed that the "next button" was stuck even though i could change the music but it boarded me so i then went back and ask him to fix that part however on the second repair he now broke the MP3 jack and now only one side of the ear piece is able to hear the audio. he is now fixing it at the shop but i think its broken already because he kept increasing the number of days to service it

My question
what is my right here can i get a refund and get a new ipod at least somthing similar to mine cuz i still need the 30 pin plug for my speaker

he is saying that he can give me another ipod though it is a version older (4gen) and i'm worried about the ipod condition he is giving me.
i like my ipod very much it's been with me for quite some time and it really sad that things took a turn for the worst but i feel that if i took the ipod (4gen) should i also get a refund or compensation. i feel that i am treated unfairly
