Replacement for iPod Classic

Hi, hope someone can advise me.

My iPod Classic 160GB "died". Any recommendation for a replacement? I have about 4000+ songs from my CD collections in Apple Lossless format in iTunes on my Windows PC which I would download and synchronise to my iPod. Now that it has "died", it would be a waste if I moved over to a totally new platform and rip off the songs again from my CD collections.

Besides going back to buy another iPod (if I can still get one), is there any other option where I can re-use what I have copied into iTunes in the Apple Lossless format? I am ok if I have to do a one time conversion to another audio format of similar sound quality. I am open to any options as long as there is a straightforward migration option to the new device.

What I need are just the simple functions of the iPod function - portability, store-and-play with a simple interface to manage the song playlist. No preference for any brand.

Any advice is much appreciated. Thanks!

or u can follow me, buy a 2nd hand LG V20 on carousell for $200, then go Aliexpress buy LG V20 10,500 mAH battery for $35.

Found the easiest and most cost effective solution to this. Just copy all the files from iTunes to my Samsung HP. Download third party software like VLC. Plays the files in the Apple Lossless format (ALAC) without any conversion needed. Problem solved. Thanks for all input.

u can still buy a ipod classic on carolsell... or u buy an ipod touch from apple...
