Hi All,

My mobo died and I am looking for a replacement, I see shoppe, aliexpress selling used mobo but I am reluctant to try those. Any idea where I can get new H97 or even Z97 mobo with warranty? Thanks in advance.

so old already, those chipsets probably eol-ed long time ago, so if u want a brand new local set with warranty u can wait long long. ur only option is get used on carousell, or from aliexpress with refurb boards. personally running a refurb/repurposed x79 chipset, no issues. they should be quite cheap anyways.

u can also consider upgrading your system too.

You can try the back alley of SLS. Some shops still carry. But they came with short warranty and not really cheap.

I prefer to get from taobao. Either get those branded ones (MSI, Asus, Asrock) or industrial mobo. Buy from reputable sellers and try get thise 未上机 mobo. I bought quite a few to replace a few of my servers coz i do not want to upgrade.

Thanks guys, Mach3.2 was very kind to pass me his Asrock, will spend some time later today to see if this would replace my H97 well.

I did also purchase the ThinkCentre M75q Gen 2 as an upgrade in Jan, but there seem to be global shortage in the AMD chip, I have yet to recieve an ETA on the delivery. :(
