Replacement for Surface Pro 4

Hi guys, coming from a Surface Pro 4 that just died =(

Would like a touchscreen device, at least 13inches, and a good stylus to take handwritten notes.

Would prefer a hinge design so that I can rest it on my lap to type (which the SP4 can't quite do)

Any recommendations? TIA

hinge type are currently of ratio 16:9 though

prob might have to wait for later refresh to see whether there are signs of trend changing to 16:10 or not

else portrait viewing is weird with 16:9 ratio

Any that you'd recommend anyways? Cos the SP4 was my daily device and need it replaced

Or any traditional laptop with excellent stylus?

Can try the Envy x360 (with AMD Ryzen 4000 processor) or the Dell XPS 13 2-in-1. Acer also has the new Spin 3 or Spin 5.

If you can wait a few more months, the new Yoga 6 and Yoga 7 from Lenovo seems quite promising too.

actually wont recommend envy series. can't set a battery limit for charging
from what i understand, only their higher end models have that function

so if you want to get envy, pls get extended warranty care that specifically covers battery bloating issues

if TS wants a good touch screen type...
think thinkpad X1Y, X13 yoga, HP elite dragonfly will come to mind

but it's kinda bad time to get a refresh model, coz most likely end of year will come out intel 11 gen processor with upgraded gpu

I'd go for the 10th generation at a discount. The 11th gen will probably be considerably more expensive after introduction. And perhaps have limited availability.
