Hi,

Recently my computer refuse to power up, no fan spinning or light on pressing the power button. However, if i unplug all the connection from psu and leave it for a day, on connecting back, it will run as normal. But it will refuse to power on the next day again.

I have tried:
- testing my psu on another computer and it work.
- Change cmos battery
- use eraser on ram
- run on minimum setup
all dont power up the computer unless i unplug the psu connection.

my computer setup:
asrock b75m-dgs with intel i5-3470
Kingston 8gb-1600
powercolour HD4870
strongtium 120 gb ssd with win 8.1
FSP 500w

What can the problem be and please recommend replacement part.

Thank you.

When it fails to power up, are fans running or totally no power at all? Your HD4870 is kinda old and maybe the cause of failed power up.
