Replacing Asrock B85M-Pro4

so my current rig is still using the Asrock B85M-Pro4 with i5-4570.
but a blackout earlier this year seems to have killed it:
- I tried changing to a new GPU, pressing the power button doesn't turn on the PC (nothing spins, no lights, etc.)
- It's strange that the blackout only took out the motherboard when the power extension strip and other devices connected to it still work fine.

I have tried searching on Carousell, Lazada, Shopee but no luck with local sellers.
I am thinking of ordering from Lazada Global sellers - but is it actually okay?

trying to set it up again, backup my stuff before retiring it as a backup PC

When you mean the blackout killed it...

How often do you restart your computer? Do you usually leave it on 24/7 until the blackout happened?

oh I meant after the blackout, it no longer turns on.
hmm I don't leave it on 24/7, it's only on from morning to night.

Ok, that rules out the dead BIOS issue, which only gets spotted during every power on. If you restart your com often you would have spotted it.

If you have a multimeter, test the CR3032 battery, see if it's low batt or you can buy a new one to replace it. see if it boots before you go all out to buy stuff.

sounds more like a psu problem than mobo problem, especially when u mention it happened after blackout. usually dead mobo will still seem like it turns on when power on, but no response after that. have u tried trying with another psu?

changed new PSU - same thing, power button does nothing, nothing turns on, nothing spins
changed PSU cable - same thing
