Replacing the Digitiser in iPad Mini 2

Recently my iPad Mini 2 started to have 'black' line from the screen that is nearest to the button; then the lines increased and it's getting thicker and taking up more parts of the lower screen.

I consulted the local service shop at Parkway parade and the shop keeper told me my Digitiser is spoiled and not the screen. He offered to buy it from it to use as spare.

I declined as he sells the replacement screen for $180 after discount he told me before.

Anyone else have the same experience or can advise where I can get it replaced?

Went to QCD at Wheelock and they told me honestly they don't such repairs and basically suggested that I should consider purchase a new iPad Mini else QCD's 'replacement' will cost me $465! As good a purchase a new iPad Mini 2!

new ipad mini 2 don't cost 465. it cost more than that. well depends on the model you are having.
