Ichiran and Ippudo are more popular among tourists. I recently brought two people from Hardwarezone to go eat at this ramen shop voted by Tokyolites as the best in Tokyo.

The kind of place that only locals, or those in the know, will know. All I can say is they needed all their willpower to suppress their screams.

ya is non toursistlly type
out of tokyo
with all customers is nihonjins while maza and me only alien ahah
but he dress in a salaryman suit so he dont looks lke a alien unlike me ahah

Pls tell us where is this ramen. I'm hunting for good ramen in Tokyo. None touristy one.... :s12::s12:
Which station is the ramen place that you went to at?

If you willing to meet up and treat me to that ramen, I will even personally bring you there to eat.

Don't worry the price is at most ¥1,000. First mouthful guaranteed 100% you will feel like screaming :o

nvm I will be back hahah :)

Next time bring you go Tokyo #2 ramen. Just went there yesterday for lunch.

Felt like screaming as well :s13:

Let me help break the information monopoly :s13:

This place is called Tsukemen Michi near Kameari JR Station

It is ranked 2nd in Tokyo for Tsukemen on the Ramen Database

I doubt it helps. Most tourists don't understand enough Japanese to navigate with that information, or order food without pictures/plastic displays, let alone communicate with monolingual store assistants or venture out of the metropolitan area.

Nice try buddy :)

Pls advise on the radiation situation in Tokyo. I intend to bring 2 toddlers to Tokyo but I am really worried about radiation contamination in the drinking water and food. Thanks for your help.

Food is well-controlled so no worries. Water quality test is also done on a regular basis but if scared can opt for mineral water.

My wife spent 4 mths of her pregnancy here in Tokyo and my daughter is fine.
