Omo!3-4 is serious or jus like u r drunk ? :o

3 feels like slight seasick
I think 4 will feel more significantly the shake.

I have encounter a 3 in Hokkaido when I was in hotel and u just start to feel disoriented and when your body starts to pick up the shake u will then notice it.

Yup, same exp as toshiro...
Woke up by the first jolt, was wondering who's swaying the bed when my wife told me it's an earthquake. After the first few jolts, i was wondering what to do but it kind of subside after a few sec so I just continued sleeping. Heard from my wife the other angmo guests on the same floor were freaking out and rushing to turn on the tv... Guess I would have freaked out if I was lucid enough... :s13:

Don't worry. Earthquakes happen here once every 2 weeks or so. Actually more frequent but just the ones you can feel are this frequency.

1.5k for transport and food and shopping :( , hopefully wun touch credit card :S

i bought 1.7k for 11days, including accomodation and lodging

for shinkansen and lodging, i spent $588, on the last day i spammed $200 on snacks

effectively i only spend $912 on food, entrance tix, and transportation

i nvr scrimp on food, i just eat whatever i want, however there is a lot of self control on buying stuff

i bought an icoca (japan ezlink), which is usable in both my destination, kyoto and tokyo, and it functions like ezlink with a 500yen deposit, with machine that help you top up etc

otherwise you can join the LONG queue at each station's ticketing machine to buy single trip ticket EVERYTIME you want to take the trains

i lived in a hostel and they have free iron rental, not sure about hotel

130k yen is more than enough :s22::s22:

just be careful about buying big items (e.g. camera lens, electronics, exquisite art pieces)

i don't think you ever need to scrimp as long as you spend normally ;)
