i saw a japanese tourist in shock at how much more she got when changing money in SG. Did not look out for money changers in japan so not sure how common /fav. the rates might be.

There is English option on the transport machines. You can purchase Suica card from the machine, there is a new Suica card button within the menu.

Hotels would usually have irons in the room or you can borrow at the reception or room tel. (Including humidifiers.)

i'd compared, rates are better in sg. sg is around 79 per sgd..here is like 74. unless changing alot..else also not too bad ba?

transport here so ex. hm..thanks...will explore the option of getting the suica.

Not sure if I want to get used to it my Japanese relative did say we are fortunate people though for being able to sleep through an earthquake. She had to wake up and rushed to make sure her family was ready for the quake with in 10sec after receiving the earthquake alert...
