Hello

I have two domains, both hosted on shared hosting platforms provided by two different hosting companies.

  • One domain is hosted with inmotionhosting.com
  • The other domain is hosted with resellerclub.com
I am experiencing different issues with each hosting provider. I would like to address them separately, starting with an issue related to InMotion Hosting.

With InMotion Hosting, my outgoing emails have been blocked, and I have received the following email notification from their support team regarding this issue.
For your protection, our Systems team recently needed to reset your email password due to the following reason: Your account was being used to send unsolicited or excessive e-mail.

For security reasons, we chose not to send you the password in this email via plain text. Please reset your email password(s) in cPanel for the following user(s), and make sure you are using a unique password you have never used before: ctan@mydomain1.com
I have changed the passwords for all email accounts. However, I am now unable to send any emails. Every outgoing email is being blocked, and I receive the following automated error message from the mail delivery system:

This message was created automatically by mail delivery software.

what caused this issue? how do resolve?

Thanks

Code:
   host smtp.mailchannels.net [35.166.226.169]

Your hosting platform is using smtp.mailchannels.net as SMTP, but even after you've changed your password, the block on your sender address still exists - 550 5.7.1 [ESA] Sender blocked.

Your hosting provider, or whoever has access to the SMTP server's admin panel has to go in and remove the block on your email address.

Anyway, after they fix the issue and emails start going out, need to be careful not to send out bulk mailers or whatever that triggered the block in the first place.

If someone else was using your account to bulk email, then changing the passwords and stopping that activity will probably work. If your hosting provider has an issue that allows others to send bulk mails using your sender address, then that is something the provider has to look at.
