Requesting for ICT (<3 months)

Need some advise here...

I deferred my HK ICT for this year august (ict just started last week) due to a clash in work commitments and it was a success

I called earlier (July) after successful deferment to request for another date as I know there is another upcoming HK on November and I was hoping to be able to get it but they did not get back to me even after few follow up calls, recently I called for updates and they say its too late and there are no more HKs coming up for this calendar year.

To the main point... I understand there needs to be notice of 6 months for ICT and 3 months for a MUT.. but it is a fixed rule or it can be adjusted for case by case basis? My unit TO is on course and I'll call back once he gets back.. but just want some input on this.. thanks.

They are not going to bendover backwards to accommodate you. If every other NSman starts requesting for a specific ICT, how are they going to plan?

how can there be 2 HK in 3 months? same company? or the 2nd is purely MUT.
not trying to pour cold water. But your case hard to do. Even your TO will find it hard to bend it for you. All these requests have to route back to G branch level and usually they are so busy that they probably wun give 2 hoots about you.

Sorry if it's not clear. The high keys are for different group of people in the unit. They told me there is no more HK this year, I will check again for any MUT when I give a call back.

if its for a different group of people, then of cos you can never be included in that group. Unless you post into that group officially.
IMHO, don't waste time liao. no MUT then so be it lor.
