Require advice on PC build

Hi!
I am new to PC building, especially in Singapore. I need some advice on my PC build.
I will be mainly using the PC for gaming purposes, but I do not require a high-end PC.
My optimal budget is $1500+- (Not including peripherals)

Build
CPU | Intel Core i5 6600k
GPU | Nvidia GTX 1070
Memory | G.Skill Ripjaws V Series DDR4-2400
MoBo | Gigabyte GA-Z170N-Gaming 5
HDD | WD Blue 1TB 3.5 Inch Internal HDD
SSD (Optional) | Samsung 850 EVO 500GB
CPU Cooler | Noctua NH-U12S
PSU | EVGA SuperNOVA G1 650W
Case | Phanteks Enthoo Evolv iTX
Fans | Phanteks 140mm Case Fan

I plan to get this parts from Newegg. I am not sure whether that is the best choice or not.

are u after the gtx1070 founders edition?

in singapore, people tend to shop at sim lim square, qoo10 (a website) or lazada (a merchant website).

I plan to get the normal 1070 will do. The reason is I do not trust qoo10 that much, but I may check out lazada.

qoo10 is pretty legit, got my refund within 2 days for a botched deal

seller didn't send out the items even after 2 weeks

besides if you buy from the right merchants and using the right coupons, you are pretty much buying from the shops in sim lim with savings that are very substantial

and use a better CPU cooler ...... those dual tower 140mm class like d14 d15 or phanteks tc14pe ... if it fits in your intended casing


power supply change to G2
not all power supply under the brand are equal quality ! they are manufactured from different factory
and you need to harvest the recycle 3 pin cable from other electronic , then turn off ECO mode switch


your ram are overpriced
