hi guys i did a google search and also searched the forum but cannot really find the exact answer i want.

i m a singaporean and my wife is a foreigner. we are looking to buy a resale EC as the wait for BTO is not something for us. i understand that for EC after 5 years MOP period it can be sold to SC/SPR. however in our case whereby one of us is a foreigner, can we buy it together or i must buy it under my own name? i called HDB and they told me i can proceed just as per private property rules but i am a little concerned. thank you for your input in advance.

yes u can buy resale EC as long as 1 owner is SC/SPR.. pm me if you need more clarification..
